Happy new year!

by Forager on December 31, 2009

For me, New Year’s Eve celebrations in Sydney are synonymous with champagne and cocktails, enormous seafood feasts and front row seats for the new year fireworks on our friend DanW’s backyard.
Every year our crew plots and plans to do something different – leave Sydney’s shores, head up the coast, go camping – something, anything different. But by the time new year’s eve comes around, we all find ourselves migrating back to DanW’s house. The truth is, the lure of good food and wine, the company of our friends and of course, unsurpassed harbour views is too good to pass up. I mean really, what is there to complain about?

So where ever you are and whatever your plans for the new years celebrations – wishing you a very happy new year and I hope 2010 is filled with great feasts and travels in exotic lands!

Or at least that’s what I hope 2010 holds for me!

Have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know your blog and meeting you in person this year. Your posts are wonderfully detailed and sometimes entail me to sit down and enjoy them at length with a cup of tea, but I wouldn't want it any other way. Happy new year, Forager!
